Salman Khan is all set to take his
mammoth stardom to another level. He
will now launch his own production house 'Salman Khan Productions'
with a remake of Subhash Ghai's Hero, the which had
launched Jackie Shroff's career as a leading man.
With this project Salman would finally
branch out into independent production
house separate from the film produced by
his two brothers.
Says a source, "Salman's brothers Sohail
and Arbaaz have their own production
houses. While Salman would remain
closely associated with his brother's
production, he would now launch his own
production house 'Salman Khan Productions' with a remake of Hero.
Salman secured the remake rights from
his friend Subhash Ghai almost a year
back and confided in him that he would
start 'Salman Khan Productions' with
Hero."
Salman has also asked Subhash Ghai to
compose the music of the new-
millennium Hero. And since Ghai cannot
say no to Salman (nobody says no to
Salman) he has agreed to officially turn
composer. (A lot of Ghai's music in the past was ghost-composed by him).
It's reliably learnt that Ghai refused to
part ways with the title Hero for Jackie's
son Tiger's launch film. Producer Sajid
Nadiadwala who's launching Tiger had to
settle for the title Hero-panti.
Says a source close to the project, "The
people behind Tiger's launch including his
father Jackie, a close friend of Subhash
Ghai, has earnestly requested for the title
Hero. But Ghai had no choice but to turn
Jackie down because he was committed to giving over the rights of Hero to
Salman Khan. Salman told Subhash Ghai
he wanted to start his own production
house with a bang. He also confided in
Ghai that he would launch Aditya
Panscholi's son Sooraj and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya in his home
production."
Both the youngsters are currently
undergoing rigorous training to start
shooting for Hero. Said Sooraj's proud father Aditya
Panscholi, "We couldn't have hoped for a
better launch for our son."

Ranbir Kapoor: I Don't Want My Life To Become A Reality Show
Bollywood's charming actor Ranbir
Kapoor admits that his rumoured
girlfriend Katrina Kaif holds a special
place in his life. However, he wants to
keep this as a mystery to the media. The
actor has become more open off late, he even gave his opinions on the Iibiza
pictures of him and Katrina going
viral."There is so much being said about
my personal life. I don't want my life to
become a reality show. Yes, Katrina is a
very special part of my life," Ranbir said.
The actor feels that there is a lot of
judgement in the country about women
and their relationships. "I think you have
to protect that. I will try and protect the
mystery of what I have in my personal
life. When you are going to marry someone, of course I would love the
world to know about the person I love,"
he said.
Ranbir finds no issues in what is being
written about him. He knows that his
fans want to know what's happening in
his life. "You can write anything about
me. I may feel bad or good about it as
you (media) have created me. I am a media created star. I can't have an
opinion now. If I say something there
will be 20 different articles and point of
views which will again bring negativity in
my life. As of now I am happy in my life
professionally and personally," he expressed.
In reaction to the recent viral photos
from Ibiza, the 30-year-old said, "I am
actor and when I was growing up I had a
favourite actor. I also liked reading
about their lives. As an actor you have to
be prepared."

What's Common Between Shahid, Kareena And Saif?
We know that superstar Khans -
Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir
Khan have a crazy fan following in the
country. Well, it's not just you who is a
fan of such stars. We have our Bollywood
actor Shahid Kapoor who has just revealed to us that he is a fan of Salman
Khan in real life. What's more interesting
is that his former girlfriend Kareena
Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan
too are fans of Sallu.
In the past, we had Kareena who told us
that she and her hubby are fans of
Salman. So here we find that the trio
have something in common. Shahid
spoke about Salman when he was
promoting his upcoming movie Phata Poster Nikhla Hero(PPNH), where he will
play a desperate fan of Salman.
The 32-year-old said that it was good
opportunity to play Sallu's fan as the
timing seems right. "Our generation is a
huge fan of all three Khans. we all have seen their films. I have seen a lot of
hysterical fans and this time it was
exciting that I got chance to play a fan. I
have played a hyper and desperate fan."
Shahid also revealed a little about his
role in the movie. "It is out an out a
masala entertaining character, which I
haven't played earlier. I haven't said
massy one liners, tapori songs etc. This
zone is different for me. The most challenging part was to adapt to this
genre," he said.
Phata Poster Nikhla Hero will also have
Salman Khan's appearance in a cameo
role. The film directed by Rajkumar
Santoshi will hit the theatres on Friday,
September 20. Do come back for more
updates on the movie.

Varun Dhawan Confirms His Relationship With Shraddha Kapoor!
Did you think actors Varun Dhawan and
the gorgeous Shraddha Kapoor are
dating? Well! that's not really the truth.
Varun Dhawan has finally confirmed
that his relationship with Shraddha
Kapoor in nothing more than 'just friendship'.
A while ago, there were rumours that
Varun Dhawan was dating the Aashiqui
2 actress Shraddha Kapoor. As per the
rumours, the two actors were spotted
having a cosy, romantic dinner
sometime back. It was said that Varun and Shraddha, who were once childhood
friends, are currently dating each other.
We also hear that the duo have been
spotted together in several public
occassions.
But, what we hear from Varun Dhawan,
doesn't really match up to these
speculations. Refuting all the rumours,
the junior Dhawan said that Shraddha is
one of his childhood friends, and he is
not dating dating her. "I didn't know my love life was so talked
about. All these
girls are my friends, including Shraddha,
the gorgeous girl, who I have known
since childhood. It's a school mentality,
wherein if you're spotted with a girl,
she's your girlfriend. It's stupid. If people talk about me because I'm
dating someone, I'd rather not be an
actor," Varun told a leading daily.

Box Office Predictions: Phata Poster Nikhla Hero And The Lunchbox
After two debacles Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani, Shahid Kapoor is
returning with Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. The film's promotion has been
fine and there also appears to be decent entertainment quotient in
there. The film's songs, though melodious, could have done better with
chartbuster status though. However, given Rajkumar Santoshi's good run
with comedies, one expects good, clean and family oriented content in
there.
Releasing on a wide scale, the film
should take an opening in the 50%-60%
range and then see gradual increase over the weekend. Since the film
is made with family audience in mind, good escalation
is expected with positive word of mouth coming into play. However it will face
competition from Grand Masti which is expected to find continued good footfalls
especially from the youth segment.
Meanwhile, for that segment of audience
which frequents upmarket multiplexes,
there is Irrfan Khan's The Lunchbox which would find its share of
eyeballs as well. Though the film is being
widely pitched as India's official
nomination for Oscars, one can only say
that first and foremost step would be for
it to find an audience in theatres. In that
aspect, there has been good base created for it already from the awareness
standpoint at least. Though one doesn't
expect a riot at the ticket counters on the
first day of the film's arrival, expect
terrific reviews resulting in enhanced
footfalls.
