The first production of stylish and tech-
wiz filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's new
banner, Benaras Media Works (along with EROS and Alumbra), WARNING 3D,
is already grabbing the eye-balls of the audience. The 'in your face',
edge-of-the-
seat thriller element, with superb
underwater cinematography, as also its
music (especially tracks like "Takeedein"
and "Bebasi") has made WARNING 3D a
hot proposition.
However, it is not clear whether the film
is a sci-fi film, underwater adventure or
something else. To know the exact genre
of WARNING we put the question to the
man himself, Anubhav Sinha, and the
expected witty retort was there. "Even I want to ask you the same! On a serious
note, WARNING 3D cannot be categorized
into any genre as such. It has adventure,
thrill, buddy bonhomie, nostalgia, survival,
everything. In about 100-105 minutes of
screen time, the audience will see everything and most importantly be
thoroughly entertained."
What about the budget, we queried
Anubhav further and to that he in his
characteristic matter-of-fact style saying,
"Zyada nahin hai (not much). It is quite
moderate and reasonable, despite the
rich look and lavishness of the film," concludes Anubhav.
The Gurmeet Singh directed WARNING 3D is all set to release globally
next Friday,
27th September to be precise.
