While the prequel to Once Upon A Time
In Mumbai Dobaara had Ajay and Emraan
reprising the role of gangsters, the much
awaited sequel too will have their
names. The makers of the film will be
giving credit to these two stars as producer Ekta Kapoor considers them to
be her lucky mascots.
Their names will feature even before the
names of the stars in the sequel. Also,
apparently, the makers have planned to
show a special 60 second footage from
the first installment featuring Ajay and
Emraan. While the two actors have agreed for this deal, Tanuj Garg, CEO of
the production house revealed that they
want to give a special thank you
mention to the two stars who have been
an important part of the franchise.

Arjun Rampal plans to produce a biopic
After Rakesh OmPrakash Mehra's 'Bhag Milka Bhag', everyone seems to be
bitten by the biopic bug including actor Arjun Rampal, who is planning
to produce a film in this genre.
The model-turned-actor`s first film production `I See You` flopped in
2006. This time, Arjun seems to be in no hurry to back a project. The
second film under his banner, Chasing Ganesha Films, might be a drama,
action or a biopic.
"There are lots of scripts that are ready. They are all different from
a drama to action film to a biopic. All are interesting projects,"
Arjun told reporters.
"Time just flew by. I was extremely passionate about the story of `I
See You`. I am not taking any chances this time," he said.
Arjun loved the recently released biopic on legendary sprinter Milkha
Singh -- `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag`. "I quite love the concept of biopic,
hopefully we would be making one. I cannot tell it is whom," he said.
The National Award winner says he will green light a project for his
production company soon.
"There are two or three that I`m extremely kicked about. But at this
point, I`m not sure which one will go on floors first," Arjun said.
Ask him if he would act in those films, he says, "If I am suitable for
the role and it is interesting and challenging then I will surely do
it. But it is not necessary to act always in the films that I would be
producing."

Prateik Babbar: Don't want work because of my surname
Actor Prateik Babbar, son of actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar and late
actress Smita Patil, is one of the few actors
in Bollywood who does not like using his
background and prefers doing things on his
own.
The 26-year-old says he does not like using
his surname to get big banner projects and
works to make his own identity.
"There is nothing more satisfying than
making a name for yourself. I don't want
to use my family name to get movies, I
like doing things on my own. Even if you
are from a movie background you have to
prove yourself. I am satisfied with the way my career has shaped up and don't
like using my surname to get work," said
Prateik.
The actor started his career with 2008
release Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and went on to star in films like Dhobi
Ghaat, Dum Maro Dum, Aarakshan, My Friend Pinto and Ekk Deewana Tha.
Prateik has always maintained a low-
profile in public and had only one release
last year. His upcoming project this year is Issaq, an Indian
adaptation of Rome-Juliet, which hits the theatres this Friday.
The actor does not mind doing one film a
year as long as he gets to do quality work. "It is a conscious
decision to do one movie
a year. I don't want to pick up any project
that comes my way. Don't care what
people say and will continue working
according to my ideologies," he said.
Issaq is directed by Manish Tiwary and also stars Rajeshwari Sachdev,
Ravi Kishan and
Makarand Deshpande. "This is Romeo-Juliet with Indian masala.
Set in a Banarasi tone the movie is a
typical entertainer. It was very difficult to
portray the character and I chose this
movie because I wanted to get out of my
comfort zone," said Prateik.
The actor's upcoming project is titled Ram Pam Posh, helmed by newbie
director Sam Khan. Prateik will star along with TV actor Karan
Kundra in the lead.

Akshay, Tamannaah On The Sets Of ‘It’s Entertainment’
The Akshay Kumar starrer It's Entertainment that went on floors early
July, is an all in all masala entertainer
that Khiladi Kumar is absolutely ace at.
We bring to you some interesting 'on
location' stills of the film right here.
Though Akshay is obviously busy
working on the OUATIMD's post production, he is juggling it up well with
It's Entertainment.
Directed by debutant filmmakers Sajid-
Farhad, the film's story trails through
Mumbai and then ends up in Bangkok.
Shot in exquisite locales, the film stars
Kumar along with the Himmatwala starlet Tamannaah, Mithun Chakraborty,
Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and
Johnny Lever.
Besides, the ensemble cast, the
filmmakers revealed that the film has a
golden retriever who is playing an
important part. Animals are suddenly
acquiring a crucial place in the film's plot,
be it the pink Buffalo 'Gulabo' in Vishal Bharadwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee
Ka Mandola or the Orangutan named 'Einstein' in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2
.
Sajid-Farhad have written the
screenplay for Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express that stars Deepika
Padukone and superstar Shah Rukh Khan and are
currently shuffling between any post-
production on that and It's
Entertainment. The movie is expected to
release by the earlier part of 2014
reportedly.

D-Day: Opening Weekend Box Office Collections
D-Day on its opening weekend saw dull collections at the Domestic box office.
The film that began poorly on its opening
day, managed to pick up mildly on its 1st
Saturday and Sunday, but in terms of
income it wasn't good enough.
D-Day collected 2.90 crores on Friday, 4.50 crores on Saturday and
5.50 crores on Sunday, taking its opening weekend
total to 12.90 crores at the domestic box office.
The film that is made with a gritty and
swanky feel, with top notch action
scenes, its ambiance was such that it
would cater mostly to the sensibilities of
a more urban and multiplex infesting
audiences. The film will see a drop in its collections during the
week, since it is
faced with the strong Bhaag Milkha Bhaag that will hinder its growth.
However, the positive word of mouth
and critics' praise might work off its
magic on the film.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya: Opening Weekend Box Office Collections
Prabhudeva's Ramaiya Vastavaiya did great business on its opening weekend
at the Domestic Box Office. The film on
its 1st day began mildly with a collection
of 4.10 crores but over its 1st Saturday and Sunday it managed to pick up quite
well!
As per early estimates, Ramaiya
Vastavaiya collected 4.75 crores on Day 2 and approx 5.85 crores on
Day 3. The Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan starrer
now stands at a total domestic total of
about 14.70 crores at the Box Office.
Prabhudeva's previous films have been
box office wonders with his last venture
joining the distinguished 100 crore club. This time he shifted from his regular
style of work and roped in newer actors.
But perhaps this shift in the genre is not
working in his favour. With all the color
and vigor in the film, the film was still a
bland show at the domestic box office.

Ranbir-Katrina’s Relationship Secret To Reveal Soon?
Bollywood's most sensational new
couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
seem to be finally ready to come out in
open with their relationship. Their affair
has been doing rounds in the media for a
while now and every time they have carefully dodged answering the
questions.
A leading daily reported that ever since
their Spanish holiday got viral on the
internet, the apparent couple are not
making any secrecy of hiding what's
supposedly deemed to be brewing
between them.
Unlike their usual plan of coming
separately and leaving separately from
parties and public events, this time
when the two went for the special
screening of Lootera, the two did not attempt to make it a secret that they
came with each other. Rather, when the
paparazzi aided with their shutterbugs
seemed eager to click them, Ranbir went
a step forward and gave them a thumbs
up indicating that he perhaps he isn't shy about going public with this personal
relationship anymore.

Arjun Kapoor gearing up for '2 States' and 'Gunday'
Aurangzeb has come and gone and
Arjun Kapoor has moved on. From
being seen in a double role avtar in
the Yash Raj production, he would
now be enjoying a double bill of sorts
with two major films next year.
While first to arrive would be Yash
Raj Films' Gunday, the release after that would be 2 States which has
Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar
coming together.
"These two films are as distinct as
they get," says Arjun, "If I had to
summarise Gunday in a few words, it
is a celebration of life and cinema. If
you look at the flavour and narrative
of this film, you would realise that we have grown up on such blockbuster
affairs. After two relatively heavy
duty affairs like Ishaqzaade and
Aurangzeb, I would be seen in a
lighter avtar now."
The film that is indeed expected to
allow him an entry into a boy-next-
door territory is 2 States, an
adaptation of Chetan Bhagat novel.
"I am playing a geeky nerdy guy in
the film and that is quite a contrast to
what I have played in my first two
films. I am happy to be experimenting
and the idea is to never consolidate
my image in a certain way. Like Ishaqzaade was a romantic film at
heart whereas Aurangzeb was a
family drama with cops and
underworld. That was a different
zone for me. Now Gunday and 2
States have an entirely different world. I know that I have it in me to
break my image" says Arjun
confidently.
It was this confidence that has
allowed some of the top producers in
Bollywood to rope him in, what with
Yash Raj, Dharma and Nadiadwala
Grandson putting money on him.
Meanwhile with Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan's Illuminati Films also
signing him for an English film with
Deepika Padukone, one looks forward
to further surprises that he has in
store.
"Honestly, I am elated to be a part of
these films which are really varied. It
is wonderful working with Adi, Karan
and Sajid," says Arjun, "What is also
commendable is the fact that the
industry is giving a fair chance to me. I look at it all in a positive
light as it is
indeed a confidence booster when
your work speaks for itself."
With talks of a couple of other
premium productions houses setting
their eyes on him as well, Arjun does
have good reasons to believe that he
has an eventful year ahead for him.

SRK Calls Salman Khan Hug 'Best Thing'
While fans and the media continue to
analyse the intricacies of the Salman
Khan and Shah Rukh Khan hug that took
place at Baba Siddiqui's Iftaar on Sunday
evening, SRK revealed his thoughts in his
own cryptic style.

where he spoke about the importance of
moving-on in life.
@iamsrk Finally u realize turning the page is
the best feeling in the world, becos
there is so much more to the book

The seating at the star-studded Iftaar
was planned to make sure the Khans

Yo Yo Honey Singh wants to rap in regional languages
Rapper-musician Hirdesh Singh, popularly known as Yo Yo Honey Singh,
who made quirky Punjabi-Hindi rap songs,
now wants to go regional and rap in local
languages.
Songs like Angrezi beat, Dope shop, Brown rang and Achko machko have
made the 30- year-old a big name in the music world.
"My target for this year is to sing in
regional languages of India," said Singh,
who recently rapped in Gujarati in the song Achko machko .
He added: "When I used to sing Punjabi
songs, I saw people in Bangalore singing it,
loving it, even though they did not
understand it. So, I thought why not sing in
their language and make things easier for
them?"
Singh's music was slammed for being
"vulgar". He denies writing anything
obscene or socially unacceptable, but
accepts that certain things were
mismanaged on his part.
"During that particular time I made some
mistakes. The first mistake was that my
management was weak. What generally
big people do, which I did not do, was to
have constant communication with the
media. Because my management did everything, I was just making music and
doing shows. Big people in the industry and
media called, but the calls never reached
me," he said.
The rapper proudly calls himself a
"dreamer" and has now braced himself for
all kinds of challenges.
He says that he can't dump those people
who have been loyal to him since the
beginning of his career. "I know problems
will come up and in order to fight them, I
am streamlining things. I cannot leave old
people (his loyal team members)... but I have asked them to forward all the
important calls and messages to me and
keep me in the loop."
He became a bigger sensation after
entering Bollywood and rapping in movies
like Cocktail, Khiladi 786, Race 2 and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.
Singh also has a record label by the name
of Mafia Mundeer and he plans to launch
new artists under it.
