After running in the theaters for over a
month, all time blockbuster film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani has finally
crossed the 190 crore mark. With its total collections so resting at
190.03 crores at the domestic box office, the film is so far
the year's biggest grosser. The film is still
short of matching up to the lifetime
earnings of Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots which seems
almost an impossibility now.
However, the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika
Padukone starrer can still claim to the
new age Bollywood film that acquired a
larger than life demeanor at the box
office after a long dry spell. The film
after running blazingly for many weeks finally slowed down after the release of
films like Raanjhanaa and Fukrey which fragmented the film's target audiences!
