Salman Khan to play double role in Big Boss promo?

Actor Salman Khan will reportedly play a
double role for the upcoming promo of
his reality TV show Bigg Boss.

The 47-year-old actor will shoot a special
promo for the seventh season of Bigg
Boss, where he will be seen in a double
role similar to his 1997 hit comedy
Judwaa.

In the promo, one character is
sophisticated whereas the other one is a
street-smart rogue. "Salman will be seen
in a double role, like his Judwaa act, in
the promos. He will shoot for it soon. We
are trying to make it special," a sources said.

The show will go on air in September. It
is being hosted by Salman since its fourth
season.

Trailer Analysis : Mickey Virus

Sporting itself as a comic thriller, Mickey Virus looks fun for most
part. Telling a story set in 'Dilli' where Police takes help
of a lazy vella hacker, the film might
work purely on the strength of its
screenplay and how the story is executed.
If all goes well, like it did for Vicky Donor, the film might pluck
out humor in the most commonplace things.

Manish Paul looks knockout in his
impeccable comic timing but the
romantic angle could have been avoided.
I have a hunch that the deliberate
attempt to add hotness might just end up
in derailing it. The film's idea is great and the dialogues seem to have a keen
flair.

The thrill part of the film is somehow not
very apparent from the trailer. It is
definitely cheeky but will it thrill you is
something one doesn't get much to dwell
on from the trailer. I am expecting
slapstick and cheap humor but its lighthearted air seems witty.

Manish Chaudhary and Manish Paul's
camaraderie might be a riot, but the film
might be a refreshing watch and that is
exactly the luring point of the trailer. I
wasn't exceedingly impressed and
keeping my expectations minimal. Mickey Virus is quite an interesting idea
and its depends mainly on the execution
how the film is woven.

D-Day: Friday (Day 1) Box Office Collections

Nikhil Advani's D-Daysaw a poor opening day collections. As per early estimates,
the film on its first day had opened to a
below average occupancy and managed
to rake up an income of approx 2.75 crores at the domestic box office.

The movie made a better business in
Mumbai circuit, however its mass circuits
collections were poor!

The movie performed below average
during morning and afternoon shows.
However, the early reactions from the
film has been great which resulted in a
visible improvement in the film's night
shows mainly.

D-Day is mainly a multiplex film and
though Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will give it a tough competition, the film can still
manage to hold its ground given its
powerful content.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya: Friday (Day 1) Box Office Collections

The Prabhudeva directorial Ramaiya Vastavaiya failed to begin on a
good note. Starring debutant actor Girish
Kumar and actress Shruti Haasan, the
film on its 1st day collected approx 3.25 crores, as per early
estimates at the Domestic Box Office.

Mainly expected to be a single screen
film, Ramaiya Vastavaiya despite its
color and vigor began with a bland show.
The film won't really satiate the
multiplex appetite but will fare well in
single screens given the film's entertaining quotient.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: 2nd Friday Box Office Collections

Farhan Akhtar's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag showed a promising income even on its
2nd Friday. According to early estimates
the film earned around 3.8 crores at the domestic office. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag now
stands at a total domestic earnings of 57.50 crores.

The film will largely remain undeterred
by this week's Ramaiya Vastavaiya but D- Daygiven its intriguing
premise and plot could give some competition to the film.
However, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will fare
well in its second weekend too given the
strong positive verdict on the film from
most of the audiences!

The Rowdy Trio – Akshay, Sonakshi, Prabhudeva To Reunite For ‘Boss’

The Rowdy Rathore trio – Akshay Kumar- Sonakshi Sinha-Prabhudeva is going to
be back for a special song in Akki's
upcoming film Boss.

According to sources, the film will have a
special song titled as 'Party All Night'
which will star the sizzling trio of Akshay
Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and
Prabhudeva. The shooting will commence
this week and since the song is quite big, it will be filmed in two
parts. The song
will be filmed in Mumbai and Bangkok!

Their last stint together made quite an
impact with the film's collections
shooting straight into the 100 crore club.
Prabhudeva known for his amazing
dancing, along with Sonakshi and
Akshay's wonderful energy, the song will be quite an appealing one for the
audiences who will love the trio coming
back together.

Boss also stars Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao
Hydari, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny
Denzongpa, and Ronit Roy. The film will
release on 18th October this year.

Two Releases for One Actor on the Same Day

Yesterday, i.e. on 19th July, 2013,
Hindi Cinema witnessed two releases
- 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' and 'D-Day'.
The common thing between these
two movies is the leading female
actor Shruti Haasan. While she is playing the love interest of debutante
Girish Taurani in Prabhudeva's rom-
com 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya', Kamal
Haasan's daughter will be seen in the
role of a prostitute in Nikhil Advani's
intense crime drama 'D-Day'.

Shruti's characters in both the movies
are poles apart and she has already
been getting rave reviews for her
performances. But this is not the first
time that Bollywood has seen two
movie releases of one actor on the same day. Any actor would never
want such a scenario but it happens
under unavoidable circumstances.
Mentioned below are two major
instances that come to my mind,
when Hindi Cinema has seen simultaneous releases of the same
actor.

1.) Juhi Chawla ('Deewana Mastana' and 'Mr. And Mrs. Khiladi') - On
October 10, 1997 Bollywood
witnessed two big releases with
common leading actress as well as
director. This was a unique case when
two Juhi Chawla starrers, 'Deewana
Mastana' and 'Mr. And Mrs. Khiladi', directed by comedy King David
Dhawan released on the same day.
Juhi was the leading lady opposite
Govinda and Anil Kapoor in 'Deewana
Mastana', while she shared screen
space for the first and last time opposite Akshay Kumar in 'Mr. And
Mrs. Khiladi'. While 'Deewana
Mastana' went on to become a
runaway hit at the box office, 'Mr. And
Mrs. Khiladi' remained average.

2.) Sanjay Dutt('All The Best' and 'Blue') - On October 16, 2009 i.e.
during Diwali period, two biggies
starring Sanjay Dutt released on the
same day. Sanju was seen in a comic
role with Ajay Devgn and Fardeen
Khan in Rohit Shetty's "All The Best'
while he portrayed a tough character opposite Akshay Kumar in sea
adventure 'Blue'. 'All The Best'
became a hit at the box-office while
'Blue' remained average.

Apart from these instances, two
movies directed by seasoned director
Priyadarshan - 'Garam Masala' and
'Kyonki' - collided on the same day
during Diwali 2005 (November 2,
2005). While the comedy caper 'Garam Masala' starring Akshay
Kumar and John Abraham became an
instant hit, critically acclaimed Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer
'Kyonki' could not make a mark at the
ticket window.

For the character actors like Anupam
Kher, Paresh Rawal, Amrish Puri,
Prakash Raj, Johny Lever etc. this kind
of situation is a common thing but for
main leads it does come as a surprise.

Do share if you are aware of any such
scenarios in the comments section

Sonakshi Sinha to get bold for an item number!

It seems that Sonakshi Sinha is
all set to change her Desi avatar and surprise everyone with her
sensuous look in an item song in Akshay Kumar's next.

As per sources, Sonakshi Sinha is expected to raise the mercury by
donning a slinky short dress in Akshay Kumar's next.

As known to everyone that the Lootera girl has always been conscious
about her dressing sense and ever since her debut she was seen wearing
Indian Outfits but this time its Akshay Kumar who has managed to
convince the beautiful actress to go bold.

Sonakshi Sinha, also felt the need of getting out her Desi image and
so she agreed to follow Akshay's advice. The actress will be seen at
her seductive best in the item number.

Tanya Ghavri, who has styled for Sonam Kapoor and Asin in the past, is
said to have designed the actress costume. Sonakshi will also be
donning another shiny, sexy grey number in the track.

Sonakshi Sinha: I am not into competing, but bettering myself

For someone who's all of 26 and just two
odd years in the film industry, Sonakshi
Sinha's resume already boasts of 10
films, four of which have been branded
'superhits'.

Sinha loves the world of cinema and
makes no bones about it. She creates an
album of every film that she works in on
her cell, which features some film stills
and candid pictures taken on the sets,
these are stored as memorable moments in her career. She is very proud
of the fact
that in a short span of time she's had five
releases to her credit and is currently
working on her 10th film! "I consider it
an achievement," says the actress, as she
sinks into a chair in her fuss-free living room on the ninth floor of
Ramayan, the
Sinhas' Juhu bungalow.

Sinha recently took everyone by surprise
when she played the asthma and
tuberculosis-afflicted simple Bengali girl
Paakhi in Lootera, a film set in the '50s.
Calling it 'a beautiful film made with a
wonderful team', she says, "People have really liked the film. My
decision to do the
film (despite being advised against it by
friends), the hard work and meeting the
challenges of shooting have all paid off."

It's common knowledge that besides
shooting hiccups like her co-star Ranveer
Singh's injury, the film was completed
amid unpredictable heavy snowfall in
Dalhousie that at times put the shooting
off gear. However, not all challenges stemmed from external factors.

Besides, trying to synchronize her
working style with that of her co-star,
Singh and director Vikramaditya
Motwane, the actress found it tough to
play an asthmatic patient. "I am known
to be this hatta katta girl with no history of illness — in short a
picture of health. I
had never seen a person getting an
asthma attack before. To make my
breathlessness look convincing, without
veering towards the caricaturish or silly,
was a huge challenge for me. Apart from that, I had to tune in with Ranveer and
Vikramaditya's style of working. They
both come from the same school of
thought and believe in being thoroughly
prepared before coming on the sets,
while I prefer to be spontaneous.

Initially, I used to land on the sets and
ask, 'Achaa aaj kya kar rahe hain?', they
would go 'WHAT!' I told them that this is
how I work! Gradually, we met midway
and got in tune with each other," she
chuckles, adding that she's happy that she did the film as she believes that
intense romantic film like Lootera comes
once in a lifetime.

"It's the kind of love that refuses to die
despite Ranveer's character turning out
to be a thief; it is unlike the love stories
being made today. The scene where he
has to leave just when they realise their
love for each other, and she comes to him with so much hope and vulnerability is
heart-wrenching! Everything about the
film is so poetic, thanks to
Vikramaditya's power of vision," she
sighs.

If Lootera is an intense romance set in
the '50s, then her upcoming film Once
Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara is a
gangster love triangle set in the '80s;
she'll be seen romancing two heroes,
Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan for the first time on screen…Ask her about doing
two period films, and she instantly
springs back to tell you that there's a
difference. "But both the films are in
completely different spaces," she
stresses, adding. "It's interesting to do things which transport you
into another
world, things which I have not
experienced. It's both challenging and a
joy to discover that life. And Milan Luthria
is such a perfectionist when it comes to
detailling. I could feel the old world around me. Besides, he refuses to take a
shot if he feels everything is not in place.
Like the streets of old Mumbai that he
visualised and recreated at Film City
Studios — I felt like I was walking on
Mohammad Ali Road."

The shooting of her next venture Rambo
Rajkumar with Shahid Kapoor is almost
complete. And Sinha's thrilled to be
working with Prabhudheva, who's
helming the film, again.

"I can see no change in Prabhu sir since I
worked with him in Rowdy Rathore. He is
unapologetic about the kind of cinema
he believes in — the have to be hardcore
entertainers. I really like the films he
makes and his style of working. In Rambo, I play this girl, who is ready to
take on the goondas. I told Prabhu sir
that he has made me more rowdy than I
was in Rowdy Rathore! I will be working
with him in yet another film with Ajay
Devgn and am looking forward to it.

I think I have become half South Indian
by now, and my third film with Prabhu
sir, will complete the process," she quips.

Prabhu Dheva to make horror film

Actor turned director Prabhu Dheva
whose romantic film Ramaiya Vastavaiya
hit the screens today, wants to explore
different genres in Bollywood. While
romance was a new genre for the
director, his success with the masala action genre is quite evident in the box
office reports.

And now taking a step further, director
Prabhu Dheva wants to make a horror
film with a female protagonist or rather
a woman ghost. While the cast is still
kept under wraps, it is said that the
movie will be shot in eerie and dark areas in the outskirts of Mumbai. Prabhu
Dheva has been always been fascinated
with horror as a subject and making a
film on it, seems to be next on his list.

"I tried to understand the job of a RAW agent" - Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan has been one of the most
sought after actors owing to his strong
performance oriented roles. He has
always been one of critics' favourite and
recently won the National Award for his
stunning performance in Paan Singh Tomar. Now, the actor is back with the
crime thriller D-Day. Playing the role of a
RAW agent, Wali Khan, Irrfan is on a
mission to bring India's most wanted
man back to his country.

Who is Wali Khan?

Wali Khan is an agent who is residing in
Pakistan for a long time who is now
married and has a kid. He was ideally an
Indian who was sent to Pakistan by his
agency where he later found a mission
which he could hold on to. He is an interesting character as the audience is
often left in a mystery as it is difficult for
them to understand if the character is an
Indian or a Pakistani. He is a strong
character who has seen different phases
of life and enamored by it. Though he is a man on a mission, he is
often faced with
a dilemma where he is caught between
his mind and his heart.

Is Wali Khan the leader of the RAW
agents who are on a mission?

While I can't reveal much about the role,
I can say that every agent who is involved
in this mission has a lot at stake and they
all are fighting equally to fulfill their
mission. So I wouldn't claim that Wali
Khan is a leader amongst them.

What was the kind of research you went
through to be a RAW agent?

Most importantly, I tried to understand
the job of a RAW agent. Apart from
referring to various sources, Nikhil played
a very important role in helping me from
time to time. I asked him to provide me
with a lot of books and materials. I also asked him to set up
surroundings where I
could meet people. Nikhil was not just
co-operative with my demands but he
was as eager to learn about everything
as I was. Before writing the script, Nikhil
had gone through a lot of research and he was enthusiastic about sharing it with
every actor in the film. He wanted to
understand the mission and the nature of
our job perfectly. I think that was great.

Your role also includes a lot of action.
What kind of training did you go
through?

I was trained by Tom Struthers. It was a
systematic training and it took us almost
a month for it. It wasn't much related to
martial arts. It was more of fist fight and
gun fight. Gun fight is all about the
relationship between a man and a gun. Tom always said that 'it is not the gun
which kills me but the person behind it'.
We were taught as to how the gun
becomes a part of us. The training was
rigorous but I enjoyed each and every
part of it.

How was the shooting experience?

There were some emotional scenes
which I really enjoyed shooting. We shot
a major chunk in Ahmedabad. Out of
that, I think the Rann of Kutch was
excellent. We shot our climax in that area
and it was a very mysterious place. I saw it for the first time and I
loved it. Also,
there was a volatile market sequence in
the film. I remember it because it was
very difficult to shoot that particular
scene.

How was it working with so many co-
stars especially with the legendary Rishi
Kapoor?

I have been working with all of them for
the first time but I like working with a
lot of new people. I don't think I have any
favourite actors with whom I like to
work with. I keep on meeting different
kinds of people. All the actors respected the story and wanted to work
for it. It
was a great experience working with all
of them. Also, I enjoyed thoroughly
working with the legendary actor Rishi
Kapoor. It was outstanding. The
atmosphere was so lively all around.

How much of an action oriented film is D-
Day?

I won't say it's heavy on action. It's the
tension between the action that is very
unique. This is the first time you will
understand the kind of job that the
actors are involved in and the audience
will get a fair idea of what it is all about.

Do you feel a lot of pressure after
winning the National Award, when it
comes to expectations attached to your
films?

Pressure? No. But I surely feel
acknowledged about it. When it comes to
people expecting another National
Award from me, I would say that I can't
go around fulfilling all of their
expectations. But I do keep in mind while signing a film, if it is
engaging enough
for the audience. It's important for me to
entertain the audience. As far as the
victory is concerned, it doesn't change
the way you work. You work the way you
always do. But what it does, is giving you a satisfaction, that your
work is being
registered and acknowledged.

Paan Singh Tomar and now Wali Khan…
are you much more attracted to these
patriotic and action roles?

I would love to do all kind of roles. I
always keep looking for new material. I
can never stick to one kind of role.

Do you think the movie will trigger a kind
of revolution that will inspire the youth
to do something for their nation?

Actually, our main aim is to make an
engaging film. That's all! The
consequences of the film- what it will
trigger, how it will affect the audience is
something that none of us can foresee.
The whole idea behind making this film is just to engage the audience and
entertain them. What it does beyond
that, is not in our control.

‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ movie review and box-office collection report

The Hindi movie "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" starring Shruti Haasan as Sona, Girish
Taurani as Ram and Sonu Sood was
released in India and across the world on
July 19, 2013.

The movie was directed by Prabhu Deva.
Its a remake of his directorial debut
Telugu movie "Nuvvostanante
Nenoddantana" which was inspired by
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's all
time blockbuster movie "Maine Pyar Kiya".

The movie made a good start at the box-
office and is expected to earn Rs 7-8 crore
on its 1st day of release.

The story of the movie revolves around a
young boy Ram (Girish Kumar) who falls in
love with Shruti Hassan, who lives on the
fields of Punjab.

Ram is the only son of Australia-based
billionaire couple Siddharth (Randhir
Kapoor) and Ashvini (Poonam Dhillon).

One day he follows her to her farm, where
her elder brother (Sonu Sood) challenges
him to produce more seed on their fields.
If he does, he can marry his sister.

The songs album of the movie has already
become popular after two movies of
heroine Shruti Haasan released on the
same day.

In its review, the Indian Express wrote,
"Instead of Salman Khan and
Bhagyashree (Maine Pyar Kiya), we have
Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan. Around a
quarter of a century separates the two
films. Did anyone stop to ask themselves why and for whom they are remaking this
film".

The#StarReport gave
the album 3.5 out of 5.0 stars and
described, "The music of the film is
refreshing,cheerful and vibrant and
perfectly suits the mood and setting of
the film."

Rishi Kapoor on a weight loss spree

The rotund Rishi Kapoor, currently going through what he calls the best years
of his acting life, has finally decided to
take his weight issue into his hands. He is
doing yoga, and hopes he can "kick" away
his alcohol intake.

Apparently, Rishi, with notable help from
his diet-conscious wife Neetu Singh,
wanted to shed the flab a year back. But
director Nikhil Advani had a particular
girth in mind for Rishi to play an
international terrorist in D-Day .

But now the 60-year-old has become
seriously weight conscious.

"Yes, I've already started doing yoga. That
gives me peace of mind. I'm unhappy about
the fact that I can't kick my habit of
consuming alcohol. It's not good for my
health. That's one thing I'd like to change
in my life. And I will," said Rishi.

"I'd also like to cut down my weight. But
my producers get worried about the
continuity in their films. 'Please finish my
film and then lose weight'. they say. Uss chakkar mein nahin ho raha
hai (That's why I'm being unable to lose weight). But
now I'll certainly take care of my weight,"
he added.

Rishi is getting rave reports for his
performance in D-Day , which released on Friday.

"It feels good. I know it's happening quite
frequently these days," he chuckled, and
added: "I've waited very patiently for this
rush-hour. I am getting the variety of roles
that I always craved for. If in D-Dayyou see me as a terrorist, in
Maneesh Sharma's Shuddh Desi Romance, you'll see me as a Marwari
wedding planner."

Rishi has a total of seven releases in 2013.

"I must tell you, some people close to me
disapproved of my presence in Housefull 2. Some felt this was not my
forte, but I
wanted to prove that I could do equal
justice to my villainous character in Agneepath and the goofy dad's
role in Housefull 2. I enjoyed myself doing that part," said the
actor, who is the father of
current heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.

On the career front, Rishi has been going
through a continued spell of success with
films like Student Of The Year, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Chashme Buddoor
doing well in a row.

"I did one scene for Yashji's sake in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. I haven't seen
the film. But I'm told that scene is very important to the
film," he said.

About the current boom-time in his career,
Rishi said: "I don't know whether it's
because of the multiplex culture, but I've
been saying no to more films lately than
I've ever done in my life. Or maybe other
younger actors are not available. Why else would an actor of my age get so many
pivotal roles?

"The only 60-plus actor in our industry who
was doing main roles was Mr. Bachchan. In
my earlier days, no one gave me a chance
to experiment with my looks and my
character. I was only made to sing songs
and romance pretty girls. I'm doing performing parts only now. We were all
trapped in our respective images in the
1970s and 1980s. Even Mr. Bachchan was
mostly doing action roles."

Nargis Fakhri injured during item song shoot

After her debut movie Rockstar, the
actress will soon be seen performing an
item number in the Shahid Kapoor,
Ileana D'Cruz starrer Phata Poster Nikhla
Hero. While the preparations are on full
swing for the item number, the actress recently ended up with an injury.

Apparently, Nargis was recently spotted
with a bandage on her back and buzz
was that the actress had a muscle pull in
the back, right before she was supposed
to shoot. However the actress tweeted,
"My neck is much better. Heating patches do the trick. Ok got to get
going to set."

Her item song is composed by Pritam,
and choreographed by Bosco-Caeser.

Don't compare me with Sunny Leonne: Poonam Pandey

Upset at being compared with porn star-
turned-actress Sunny Leonne, starlet
Poonam Pandey says she wants to be in
the league of her favourite stars Rekha,
Madhuri Dixit and Kajol.

Talking to reporters, she said she hated
to be compared with Leonne, adding her
favourite stars are Rekha, Madhuri and Kajol.

"In future, I would like to compare
myself with these actresses," Poonam
said. She said she has high hopes from
her upcoming film Nasha which will hit
screens on July 26.

Besides some intimate scenes, the film
has a lot to offer which will be liked by
the audience, she said. According to her,
she chose this film as it has given her an
opportunity to exhibit her acting talent.

She said people want to see her the way
she looks on the screen and one should
not have any problem in it. "I am doing a
social service by wearing less cloths as
people enjoy a lot by watching me in
these dresses."

She denied reports that she had leaked a
hot MMS of the film before its release as
a publicity stunt.

Rumoured lovers Ranbir, Katrina watch D-Day together

By now the whole of Bollywood, fans and
the media alike are pretty sure that the
much talked about B-Town couple Ranbir
and Katrina are definitely more than just
'good friends'.

Though the alleged lovers have never
even come close to admitting or denying
their relationship, they have given us
plenty to be suspicious about as they
continue with their game of hide n seek.

The couple was recently spotted arriving
in the same car at the screening of Nikhil
Advani's D-Day. At first, the paparazzi
were unaware that Katrina was in the
car as Ranbir was seated in the front.
However, on being spotted the photogs were sure to get a few pictures of the
couple caught in the act.

Earlier this week, Ranbir and Katrina
attended the screening of Ship Of
Theseus, which was held at Aamir Khan's
residence. We hear, a party was was
planned after the screening to celebrate
Katrina's birthday. The beauty turned 29 on July 16. According to
sources, Ranbir
gifted his ladylove some exquisite
jewellery on her special day.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara Music Review

Star rating : 2.5/5 (Two And Half Star)

Music Director: Pritam

Somehow I always thought Milan Luthria
has a good ear for music, especially after
he roped in Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to
conjure up a delectable song in Kachche
Dhaage. But frankly with Once Upon In
Mumbaai's second edition I am slightly disappointed with both Pritam and
Luthria. Pritam's last hit album Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani still has its
tune fresh in my head and its songs are on the
loop on my playlist. However, with this
album there is meager chances of any of
the tracks to stay on your music shelf at
all.

Ye Tune Kya Kiya – Once Upon A Time
In Mumbaai Dobaara! Music Review

Sung by Javed Bashir, the song's beauty is
only in his wonderful voice. The lyrics are
too rash and hence the impact runs out.
The song's lyrical bit doesn't have any
rhyming in it, and the tempo is unusually
high. The melody and the pace could have been altered for the better!

Tayyab Ali – Once Upon A Time In
Mumbaai Dobaara! Music Review

The lyrics of this song are a standout and
perhaps that's what makes this
repackaged version of the Mohd. Rafi
classic sound good. Keeping comparisons
aside, this one is a fine hear. Javed
Bashir's voice is appealing as always and there is a nice touch of humor in his
eclectic singing. I am never is favor of
remaking old tracks since I perceive it as
lack of imagination and hence this track
is lag for me.

Tu Hi Khwaish Na – Once Upon A Time
In Mumbaai Dobaara! Music Review

Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, this song is
brilliant and stands out with its catchy
beats. It is vigorous and its rhythm is well
arranged musically. The retro cabaret
beats comes across well in Sunidhi's
sensuous voice.

Chaugliyan – Once Upon A Time In
Mumbaai Dobaara! Music Review

In the voices of Javed Ali and Saher Ali
Bagga, the song leaves absolutely zero
impact in its first hear. However, in its
soft and easy to hum ways the love ballad
is mostly flat. The instruments'
arrangement in the song doesn't fascinate and loses appeal too soon!

The Last Word – Once Upon A Time In
Mumbaai Dobaara! Music Review

Overall the OUATIMD album is just about alright. With such few songs to gauge
from it is an average album with only Tu Hi Khawish standing out in
terms of lingering music. I am going with 2.5/5
for this album. Pritam and his singers can
do much better than this. I was expecting
the original OUATIM delight but in comparison this one turned out to be
drab!

Jaya Bachchan gets emotional over Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

At a special screening of Rakeysh
Omprakash Mehra's Milkha Singh bio-pic,
Jaya Bachchan was so moved she couldn't
hold back her tears.

Says a source from the BMB team, "Jayaji
seldom attends movie screenings these
days. But she made it a point to be there
for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag because of the
family's very close relations with the
film's director Rakeysh Mehra and Farhan. After the screening she just couldn't
control her emotions. She called Farhan
aside and wept openly, telling him he had
lived the pain, suffering and triumph of
Milkha."

While Farhan refused to comment on Mrs.
Bachchan's emotional response to the
film and his performance, saying it was a
private moment, Jaya when contacted did
say, "I loved it. Farhan was brilliant. I
enjoyed a film so much after a long time."

Check out: Alia Bhatt on cover of Harper Bazaar

She is proverbially the new kid on the
block, but the unprecedented success that
this young actress has seen with her
debut film Student Of The Year, has
literally catapulted her into the limelight.
She is none other than Alia Bhatt. While film offers are pouring in on one hand
and endorsements on the other, the
newbie recently posed for Harper's
Bazaar as their cover girl.

Interestingly styled, Alia sports a chic bob
cut hairdo with a strapless grey Gucci
dress and leopard-print stilettos while
walking up a ladder. The cover which
actually is a tribute to a 1959 cover by
model Dovima that originally signified the addition of an extra 'A' to
Bazar, had even
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway pose
similarly back in February.

If Alia isn't enough, the magazine also
features articles on the return of retro
dressing and a feature on designers you
love but don't know yet.

Veena Malik To Star In 'Super Model'!

Pakistani actress and reality show
star, Veena Malik will now star in a
new movie called 'Super Model'. After
a string of extremely unsuccessful
movies like Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai,
the actress would look to make her presence felt with her new film
which, as the name suggests, is based
on the fashion industry of our country.

"The wait is over for my fans,"
the actress announced. "Super
Model is a story of a girl, who
achieves stardom by going
through many ups and downs.
You will see the most glamorous Veena in this movie."

The director of the movie, Navin Batra was also present in the press
conference. He seemed very
enthusiastic about his new film and
went all praise for her leading lady.

"Veena had proved herself by
playing a supermdoel," Batra says.
"She has done justice to the role.
After this movie, Bollywood will
get a new Super Model," he said
to the reporters.

Let us see what this film does to her
career.

Why Aamir Khan Wants To Throw A Party For Katrina Kaif?

Superstar Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif
are working together for the first time
in the movie Dhoom 3. And it seems that
the two have become very good friends
now. Recently, Katrina Kaif attended the
special screening of Ship Of Theseus, on her birthday, which was arranged by
Aamir. The actor got very happy with
the fact that Katrina took out time for
him on her special day. And that is why,
Aamir wants to throw a party for her.

Talking about Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan
told a leading daily, "I am so happy that
Katrina could come. I might throw her a
party as a birthday gift soon."

Katrina Kaif recently celebrated her 30th
birthday. It is said that after attending
Ship Of Theseus screening, Katrina went
to have dinner with her alleged
boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Not only this,
rumour has it that post dinner, Ranbir and Kat went for a walk. On the way,
Ranbir spotted a jewellery store and

Emraan Hashmi's next titled Shaatir

UTV Motion Pictures and director Kunal Deshmukh have finally zeroed in on
the title Shaatir for their thriller, featuring Emraan Hashmi as a conman.

The movie was in title trouble. When the
makers checked to register Shaatir, they realised that the title
already belonged to
Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd.

This was a huge cause of concern for the
makers. Incidentally, when UTV officials
met Rohit Shetty for a casual meeting
since the two are working on Chennai Express, this topic came up.

Rohit, who has had an exceptional
relationship with Ashtavinayak courtesy
the superhit Golmaal series with them, agreed to speak to the production
company, and helped settle the concern.

The makers were thrilled and grateful to
Rohit for his help.

"Rohit was extremely helpful, he
immediately spoke to Ashtavinayak and
helped us get the title from them," Manish
Hariprasad, creative director, Disney-UTV,
said in a statement.

"We're very excited with our next
production which is now called Shaatir. This will be Emraan's second
film with us
and we are looking forward to work with
him on something he has not played
before and he is also very excited about
playing a character of a shaatir conman," Hariprasad added.
