Akshay Kumar continues to be on a roll. After stepping out of Mumbai for
a holiday to the USA with his family,
he has resumed work. Reason being
that producer Ramesh Taurani has
planned a quick-fire mini schedule for
his comic affair 'Its Entertainment'. Currently in Bangkok, he is with his
debutant director duo of Sajid-Farhad
who have kick-started the film with
this overseas shoot.
"Akshay is doing his best to balance
time between his vacation and
shooting commitments," says a
source, "He did enjoy some good time
with his family while in USA where
he was for a back-pack trip. He did take out Aarav and bonded well.
However he isn't continuing to rest or
utilise this entire monsoon season for
the sole purpose of leisure. Even as
rains lash the city of Mumbai, he is
using this time to film 'Its Entertainment'."
In any case Bangkok is Akshay's home
away from home since he has spent a
good number his younger days there.
This has allowed this fortnight to turn
out to be a good balance of leisure
and business trip.
"Still, even though Akshay would be
back in Mumbai after this schedule, he
may not really have much of the 'me
time' for himself," a close associate
adds, "Reason being that he would
soon be resuming work on half a dozen other films of his that are in
different stages of production. There
is 'Thuppakki' remake, 'Gabbar' and
'Gutka' to be made in quick succession
along with 'Its Entertainment'. Then there is 'Boss' which would has to
reach the finishing line as well. Not to
mention the promotion of 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara!' that
would kick-start the moment he lands
in Mumbai."
