A couple of days ago, we tipped you off
that Farah Khan will get her best buddy Shah Rukh Khan a new heroine
to romance in Happy New Year. That
certainly kept us guessing and wondering
who the lucky babe would be.
Here's the latest buzz on the same – the
filmmaker has shortlisted five girls for
the role and will soon finalise her film's
leading lady.
According to the grapevine, one of the
shortlisted girls is the television actress
Jennifer Winget, who is taking the telly-
land by storm these days with her
remarkable performance in
Saraswatichandra.
But her chances to grab the coveted role
seem to be getting slimmer by the day, as
Farah's female lead in the film is a
Marathi mulgi, exactly on the lines of
Tezaab's Mohini. Thus, it's a must for the
girl to be familiar with the Maharashtrian language.
While Jennifer now has a hope in hell of
lapping up the big opportunity, it is
another TV stunner, Ankita Lokhande,
who has a sporting chance to walk away
with the role.
If that comes true, the Kai Po Che! hottie, Sushant Singh Rajput, will
be the happiest for his girl's big feat. And that gives way
