Apart from being two of the most popular
actors of this generation, Salman Khan
and Shahrukh Khan shared excellent
chemistry in 1995 blockbuster 'Karan
Arjun'. Both played the roles of brothers
perfectly. After that they have worked together in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and
'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam' also. SRK did
guest appearance in Salman's 'Har Dil Jo
Pyaar Karega' while Salman did a cameo
in SRK's 'Om Shanti Om'.

Although the two don't see eye to eye
today because of personal differences,
there are three big movies mentioned
below, in which Salman-SRK combo was
the initial choice of the makers.

1.) Kal Ho Naa Ho: Karan Johar's debut 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' had a
special role for
Salman Khan. In his production 'Kal Ho
Naa Ho', Karan wanted Salman to play the
role of Rohit. Salman turned down the
role and it was eventually played by Saif
Ali Khan.

2.) Mujhse Shaadi Karogi: Although producer Sajid Nadiadwala is Salman's
favorite, he has worked with SRK in
'Deewana'. He approached Shahrukh
Khan to play the role of Sunny in David
Dhawan's 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi'. SRK
was least interested and the funny role went in the kitty of Akshay Kumar.

3.) Jaan-E-Mann: Sajid Nadiadwala was very keen to have SRK play the role of
nerd in Shirish Kunder's debut directorial
venture 'Jaan-E-Mann'. SRK rejected it yet
again and Salman-Akki combo did their
second movie together.
